ASSIGNMENT Cottages in Dutch vacation parks have had their glory days. People don't rent the cottages , beacause they look dreadfull. The interiors are extremely outdated. Find a way to attract more people to those vacation parks.
I came up with a plan to design a cottage for people who would like to take their horse with them. Those vacation parks are mostly located in beautiful national parks or wildlands. I know from experience that a lot op people (with horses) would actually like to do this.

The concept is SAORSA, which means 'freedom' in the Scottish language. I felt inspired by the Scottisch culture at the time, so I wanted to use that in my design for the cottage.
As you can see in my moodboard: freedom, wilderness and Scottisch culture were my influence.

The stables are almast completely made out of glass, so that the owners can keep an eye on their horses contantly; even when they're sleeping. The horses can interact with each other while in the stable, bacause the seperation wall is made low enough.
There is a seperate room just for tack and luggage, a tiny bathroom with huge waterfall shower, a nice and big sitting area and an open kitchen with extended countertop for dining.
